DD's 2 year appointment
She's 28lbs and 33 inches. 50th for height and 75th for weight. And here I've worried about her eating enough!
He was so impressed with her speech! I didn't think it was abnormal for this age but after hearing her talk throughout the appointment and asking her some questions, he said she's speaking on par with 3 year olds!
He also said that girls normally potty train on average at 3 years old and was highly impressed that she's potty trained already!
What made me a proud mommy was hearing "Emma is a highly intelligent and very bright child."
He gave us some great tips for getting rid of the paci. We went for his suggestion of doing the Paci Fairy. We're supposed to talk it up today and tomorrow and she will come visit DD tomorrow night and leave a special toy in the place of the pacis. We went and picked up a Glo Worm for her to keep in her bed. So when she asks for the paci, we're supposed to give her the toy and remind her that the paci fairy brought that for her.
He also described her as "stubborn, willful, determined" LOL! Oh trust me, we already know that.
