Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

No Learning Curve, I'm Not.

Just got an e-mail from learning curve, "you are 14 weeks pregnant today"

Actually, I am not but thanks. I thought I had un-subscribed to all those e-mails and haven't gotten one in four weeks. To add insult to injury, my BIL, SIL and nephew will be in town tonight-monday. I am happy to see them, but I remember when we told them I was pregnant. We were so excited about seeing each other Labor Day. SIL was all about 'the cute bump' I'd have by then. Well, at least I can try this sweet tea vodka she's been raving about.

  • As if it isn't hard enough to have reminders in your house, you have to see it on your computer.  Sorry, hope you enjoy the family and the sweet tea vodka.

  • I'm sorry you got that e-mail.  I got a diaper in the mail yesterday and one day last week I had about 5 pieces of mail and they ALL had something to do with babies or being pg!  I wish we didn't have to have all those physical reminders on top of the constant thoughts of our loss and babies.  ((((big hugs)))))))  Drink one of those sweet tea vodkas for me Drinks!!
  • The reminders are tough.  I am getting Babies R Us coupons, flyers and a Parenting magazine.  Someone else on this board recently said she is putting them all in a box and will open it after she gets a positive test - I think that's a good idea actually.

Def. enjoy the sweet tea vodka :)  It's a crappy consolation prize, but I'm about to help myself to a beer.  I will enjoy it while I can.

    *hug and best wishes.

  • oh i hate those.... i unsubscribed to all mine too and I am still getting them grrr......
