NBR: Dish Guy

So I just have to vent this. I have a guy from Dish Network here installing service at our new house. When he got here heinsisted that my dog has to be contained per company policy. That us fine and all, I understand company policy, but what do they expect youto do with them? He is installing service in all of our bedrooms, living room an kitchen. He is in the back yard installing the dish and garage where some of the wires run. I am now sitting in my running car in the driveway with DS and the dog. So much for "at your convenience!"

so he is in your house all alone and your in the car? Wow I must have some major trust issues...

Do you not have a crate you can use?  Or is there a way that you can have him concentrate on certain rooms and use others to temporarily contain your dog?  What about having a neighbor or friend take your dog for the afternoon?  I know that is frustrating, but I don't think I would trust the guy in the house all by himself.

I do have trust issues! I took all my jewelry with me to the car, and everything else is large enough for me to see him walk out with. I only have a five room house plus garage and don't have a crate, so there wasn't really anywhere to put him. If it wasn't so hot I would just leave the dog in the car, but it is 85 inside the house, so the car would be really hot if not on. We just moved hereand have yet to meet any neighbors, so here I sit.
