My Dad is out of town, so I've been checking in on my Mom every day. Her health isn't great, so I call everything morning to make sure she's up and has taken her medicine and to see if she needs anything. No answer at her house this morning. She could have gone out, so I'm trying not to worry. I called her neighbors to ask them to check and see if the car is in the driveway, but they aren't home either. DH is leaving work early and is going to swing by the house, but I kind of feel like I should drop everything and go over there.
Worthless unemployed BIL who lives 10 minutes away from my parents can't go check because he's "waiting for a phone call." (He only has a cell phone, which he can obviously take with him on the drive to my parents, but he doesn't want to be distracted when/if his call comes in.)
Re: Getting worried. I can't find my mom
Does your mom have a cell phone? If you feel like you should go then go.
Hope you find her quick!
That is the biggest load of crap I've ever heard! (BIL) How distracting would it possibly be to look out the car window? If he gets his magic phone call he can pull over. What an ass.
Sorry about your mom though. I'm sure everything is fine, but I would be really worried right now too.
I called her cell phone -- no answer. This doesn't really mean much since she never turns the thing on.
