How do you sanatize your LO's toys?

We just got home from the doctor and it turns out DD has hand foot and mouth disease in addition to getting all four top teeth!  How do you sanatize your LO's toys?  I need to clean them anyway, but now I really need to because I have a baby coming over next Tuesday that I'm babysitting.

    The toys that do not take batteries I clean with dish soap, the ones that do I usually use a lysol wipe.

    I was going to suggest licking them clean because that's what my DH thinks is sufficient, but yikes on the foot and mouth disease!  I just use warm water and soap, but if you need stronger sterilization you can try diluted bleach, boiling, or a steam bag.

    Oh no; I hope your DD is feeling better soon.

    I individually wash the toys with dishsoap, but also occasionally put all the water-safe toys in a huge washing bin filled with warm water, a little bit of white vinegar and dishsoap.  I keep them all in there for an hour of two, then individually rinse them.

    For plastic toys, I use a Clorox wipe and then let them dry. Then I rinse them with hot water.
