Anyone's baby get a frenotomy? (This is when a baby is "toungue-tied" and their tight frenulum is clipped.)
I would love to hear your experiences. Also, what age was your baby? Thanks for ANY info you can provide.
My LO is almost a year old and I really wish we'd have done this when he was a newborn- it would have been so much easier. Many Drs want to put babies this age under general anesthesia for this procedure, but I am not OK with that at all. My lactation MD does them for babies this old and says it is a simple clip - the problem is it's hard to hold them down when they're this old.
Re: frenotomy (toungue-tied)
We have an appointment in November to have this done.. 2 different doctors here didn't want to do it when he was young. They also say it's just a simple snip with no anesthesia. Good Luck and let us know how he does!
Love his name by the way!!
