I truly can't believe Ben is 27 months old today. It seems like he was just a baby. He's doing all kinds of big boy stuff now and truly holding conversations with us. I can call him from work during the day and my mom will put him on the phone and he'll say "hi, mom I love you". Time goes by way too fast.
Too those who are waiting and matched..good luck! I hope your wait is short and that your baby comes home to you soon.
To those who already have kids....enjoy them while you can.
Re: I can't believe it....
Crazy, isn't it? And having 2 is a double-edged sword--I know how much better (and frankly, easier) thins get past the toddler stage, so I find myself waiting for DS#2 to grow up a little so we're no longer on house arrest.
Then I feel bad for my inability to live in the present and for wishing away his babyhood. I just wish he would talk and stop screaming!
awww.. he is too cute!
I say that about my nieces all the time. Each time i see them, they seem more and more grown up.
They grow so fast I do not know were the years have gone I have one 17 and I am not but maybe 25.........He should be a toddler still.
Here we go with DD and I think I will appreicate her more.I really struggled with my first two trying to hold everything together. I can now sit back and enjoy more because we are good......not wealthy but OK.
You are so right, it's all goes by quickly! We found out that our DD is transitioning out of the Infants 1 room into Infants 2 next week. It's kind of bittersweet to say the least...
