Im running out of ideas. She liked her jumperoo for like a new york minute and now that she can stand, crawl etc. she doesnt like being confined in there for more than 5 minutes. She has the Leap Frog table which she likes, but all the other toys are losing her interest- fast! They are all the 0-6 month toys and to be honest, she still has much she could learn from them (like blocks, etc) but all she wants to do is be active. We are putting together a play area for her and so I need her to start playing a little more independently as well as with her toys instead of tearing up the house.
I am hoping to get some ideas from you ladies so I can make her new "play area" a little more inticing for her.
Thanks!
Re: Please recommend activities/toys for 10-12 month old
DS is walking now, and we have the living room blocked in so it's his play area. We have the Fisher Price walker lion and the Fisher Price zebra that they can sit on and bounce. He likes those.
But, his main thing is taking toys and walking them around and putting them different places. I have some plastic bowls and other tupperware-type things that he likes to put smaller toys into and then dump back out. His absolute favorite is a old popcorn tin that's pretty big. He bangs the lid and puts toys in and out of it. HTH!
