Ditto! People don't know how to react to these kinds of stories and I think part of that is it is kind of a taboo subject. One of my instructors asked me about two weeks ago if I had kids. I told her no, unfortunately I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago at 11 weeks, but I'm hoping for a healthy baby soon. She just looked at me as asked if I was sad. Um....yes, I just lost my BABY. I know she didn't mean anything by that, and she probably didn't expect me to share something so personal, but I loved that baby and have no problem telling people my story.
