cold or teething??

DS has had cold symptoms....runny nose and congestion x 2 weeks.....I called pedi and got some more albuerterol because he has had bronchiolitis twice this year.....his congestion has cleared up but his nose is still running (clear) and he's waking at night and being very clingy... I noticed his top teeth are right at the edge of his gums...do you think this is teething or something that should be checked out..he's never ran a fever...PLEASE HELP!!!
