dreading tomorrow's trigger

I had a loss in November of '08. My boss & his new wife (just got divorced, just got remarried, already preg) are finding out the gender of their baby tomorrow morning...

i'm DREADING them coming into work after their appt all excited & telling the gender..

I dread every time they come in after a doctor's appt w/ their new ultrasound photos but generally can just walk off not noticed & leave the situation without seeing their photos...there is no way to not hear the crushing words i know i'm going to hear tomorrow. Whether they find out it's a girl or a boy i know i'm going to be crushed. My little boy or girl should be here already, i should still be on maternity leave...

?Not really asking a question or expecting any responses...just venting & dreading of work tomorrow, having anxiety over what i know is going to be a really bad day for me. Wish i could call in "sick"...?

I'm so sorry. I found out a really close friend is preg last night.  All day I felt like I had been punched in the stomach.  Prediciting your feelings maybe this is "sick".  Hope you're feeling happier soon. *hug

Aw, that sucks.  You should take a "mental health" (sick) day for sure - if possible.  Maybe try to be away from your desk or office when they show up...if possible sneak away for a lunch out with a friend to get you mind off of it.

I'm so sorry.  That's got to be so hard to hear about all the time.  Best of luck tomorrow.  I hope it isn't as bad as you think it might be.  ((((big hugs)))))
