If you had a late walker...

when did they start walking?  #1 started walking around 11 months, but #2 is 12 months and not interested at all.  I'm not worried just wondering when some of the late walkers started walking.

Not to be a PITA, but this post irritates me.  12 months is not a late walker, it is an early one, the average age is 14 months and late for walking is AFTER 18 months.

I didn't say 12 months was a late walker.  I said if you had a late walker when did they start.  I'm just curious since my only experience so far is with a child that walked at 11 months.  I'm wondering what the age range is.

First off, hhheeeeyyyy!   Where have you been?

E didn't walk until 5 days or so after his first bday.   I thought it would never happen just because all the other 1 yr. olds I knew WERE walking.

My DD didn't start walking fully on her own until she was around 14 or 15 months. She took her first steps when she was 12 months, but she is such a little perfectionist that she waited until she could walk without any mistakes and once she started, she never stopped and was never wobbly or clumsy etc. I think their little personalities have a lot to do with it...

DS crawled and pulled up at 11.5 months and walked at 15.5.

It's considered perfectly normal to walk as late as 18 months.

H is 14 1/2 months and just started walking a couple weeks ago.  He hates to fall so he was very cautious.

Landon could walk (shaky first steps) but wouldnt at around 11.5 months.  Then when the girls were born (10 days after he turned 1) he started walking when my mom would bring him to see me.  He would push the doctors stool around.  By the time we came home 6 days later he was full walking.  

K&K though twins didnt walk until 15 & 16 wks.

Kate took her first steps 4 days before she turned 18 months old.  In 2 days she was a full time walker and rarely fell.  She didn't crawl until 10.5 months, pulled up at 14.5 months, stood alone at 17 months.

Only a few of her friends were walking at 12 months.  I'd say 13-14 months was the average, and obviously Kate was on the bleeding edge of "normal."
