I know your games. I know what you are doing. You come knocking at my door when my stomach is grumbling and show me a brochure with the most delicious looking food in it. My brain is saying, "Do I really need to buy this stuff?" and my tummy is saying "Buy it all! Two of each!"
I compromised and bought a tub of chocolate chip cookie dough. Why? Because the picture made me drool and because I support the local high school's music and band program.
When my cookie dough comes in two weeks, it better make damn good cookies.
Sincerely,
Your local starving mom who has no self-control when it comes to delicious baked goods
Re: Dear High School fundraiser kids,
Our schools don't sell any goodies anymore. It's against their "healthy lifestyle" model.
That cookie dough was the best!
Send them my way! No one lets their kids go door-to-door here, so I don't get to buy the overpriced cookie dough/gift wrap/ popcorn/etc. It's that whole 'big city' mentality or something.
