Aack! Parent at DS's daycare has mumps

I just got the email from DS's daycare (he goes 2 days a week) that a parent who has been doing drop off/pick up all week was just told they have mumps. This is the first time I am really happy that our pedi does a hardcore vaccine schedule so DS has already had both rounds of the MMR.

    WTF?  That is nuts.  I bet there are plenty of kids there who haven't even had one dose of MMR yet.  Kate didn't get hers until her 2 year appt.  Yikes!

    Seriously. Hopefully most of the kids there have had it, though...she only takes kids from 12 months to 3 years, so no babies luckily. There are a lot of younger siblings, though,

    Ugh, and I just found out that the child of the parent has not had their first MMR (I have no idea who it is so no clue how old they are). Poor baby, I really hope all is OK and no one else gets it....
