Is This Teething??

For the past week, DD has been waking up screaming several times in the middle of the night.  She can not be consoled unless held and/or nursing.  I have been thinking she is top-teething.  When going down last night, she was gnawing like crazy on my fingers.  But, last night when she woke up, I noticed she kept arching her back and shaking her head from side to side...

Does this sound familiar to anyone else?  Are these symptoms of teething or something else?

    Sounds like it could be teething. DD is getting both her top teeth right now and the only way she will sleep is if I'm holding her. I tried to put her in her crib last night and she would wake up crying. Try tylenol or motrin.
