I've been told that when transitioning a baby to babyfood, you should start with more bland foods. I think this is so that the baby will eat them later down the road, after more tastier foods have been introduced? But, I've also heared that you should start with fruits. Which is true and why????

not sure this helps but when we started ds on solids we went with carrots for a week and a half then did bananas. These were most commonly used and rec. by my mom and pedi and ideal starters.
