Had my HSG test this am.....

Good thing is I've only had to pay $20 for 1st RE visit, pap, CD3 bloodwork (they tested for like 15-20 things) and my HSG.  I have HMO (Kaiser Permanente).  Anyway, they started me on the antibiotic yesterday.  I take 2 pills a day, AM/PM for 3 days.  I was instructed to take 600-800mg of Motrin an hour before the test, I took 800mg.  The test was painless.  Much like a pap.  I had no pain during or after.  I took another 400mg of Motrin since I feel pretty good so I continue to feel painfree...figured better to be safe than sorry.  Anyway, DH goes in this week for his bloodwork and SA.  We then are instructed to call on 9/8 to schedule consult with RE.  Hope to get a game plan soon:)

It's nice to hear a good HSG story - since I have mine scheduled for            Sept. 9th. I also plan to take 800 mg of advil plus some ativan for good measure;)

Glad to hear things went well.  I need to hear these happy HSG stories.  I have mine today at 2:30 and am getty a little antsy about it.
