I didn't remember this until working on DS's baby album this weekend and finding a pic of DH feeding popcorn to him at 6 weeks old (!?!?) but I do remember DH removing the kernel from each piece, at least.

2. my ds doesn't really have a problem chewing stuff/choking (I think he has once bc the piece of chicken he ate was too big and he didn't really choke just had a hard time getting it down)

LOL. I still cut up DS's grapes. I will probably do it when he's in high school too.

About 3.5 and I made DH watch him like a hawk, one piece at a time. That was the compromise b/c I didn't want him to have it at all.

If I'm not mistaken, the AAP recommends 4 years old for eating popcorn.

I give it to Miles and he just turned two. I do still take the kernel part off though.

ditto, it's not like he's had it a lot, but when he does I just keep an eye on him and he loves it.
