Today I reduced & recycled...
ALL of the kids toys. While I did have to throw out a lot (broken or hideous) I put together 2 HUGE bags full and posted them on Freecycle. The first person to respond is a foster parent and she uses the toys to set up Going Home baskets for the kids she has that get to go home. That way she knows that they at least have some special toys that they love.
It's a total win-win. I got rid of a lot of the plastic toys we don't need and I get to help her do something extra for those kids.
