We cosleep (it used to be parttime, but he won't go into his crib at all anymore), but even so it takes around an hour of rocking to get him down. Basically, our entire evening is dinner, bath, book, nurse, rock for an hour. DH and I have no alone time unless we hire a babysitter, b/c by the time he goes down, we're ready for bed.
Any ideas?

DS grew out of it, and it did get better (although we still have bad nights where it takes the whole evening to get him asleep). But for him, nothing we tried made any difference until he just one day started going to sleep better.
In other words, I am no help at all! But big hugs.
I sympathize w/you. Some nights, it takes DS a long time to fall asleep, other nights, less than 20 min. The No Cry Sleep and Nap Solutions really helped.
