It is time for me to go back to work full time and I am trying to figure which is better: should I use the milk that I pump or should I freeze that milk and use the milk that was frozen first? What do you suggest?
It's really up to what you want to do. I've been at this for almost a year now and have been lucky enough to pump enough for the next day. I have always used fresh (not frozen) BM and continually added to my stash as well. Just recently, I have been thawing out a bag/day and mixing it with fresh milk (just in case it tastes different from being frozen).
Ds only takes two bottles/day while I'm gone, and they're both frozen as of right now. I found that if I gave him fresh, I'd never use the frozen stuff I have. That may change if I pump less or he eats more! I figure he gets fresh milk from me when we nurse 4 other times during the day.

I send fresh from the day before and of Friday freeze what I pump. Monday I send 2 bottles of frozen milk to rotate it out of the freezer and I bottle pumped fresh on Sunday. I only pump just what he takes so I really am only adding one exta bag to my freezer supply every week.
