LO has been pretty consistant with yellowish poopies. Now all of a sudden since yesterday they have been green! Does anyone know what this could mean? I wonder if it is a coincidence since we switched formula, 2 days ago or if it's something else.

My Dr said that green poo is from food moving through the digestive track faster. If it isn't bloody I would say it is OK. I have heard that it has to do with fore/hind milk imbalance - maybe due to a growth spurt and milk supply change. I also read tht some viruses can cause green poo.
In our case, the green/mucous/bloody poo was from food allergies that caused the poo to pass more quickly in an effort to eliminate it. I must have had something that had either soy or cows milk in it because her poo was spinach green over the weekend. It is back to NB yellow now.

That's the perfect description---spinach green. Hhhm, I did have a donut 2 days ago that had alot of almonds in it. DH is allergic to nuts so I wonder if she could be.

Yes & I can't imagine taking it out. I really don't eat/drnk alot of it. I actually drink Lactaid because of my intolerance to milk. I need my Ovaltine & cheerios daily.

I would eliminate it for a week, see if it clears up then challenge her and see if it comes back - then you'll know.
I said the same thing - but I had to give it up. First I replaced it with soy and that helped, but didn't eliminate the problem, so I had to eliminate that too. I replaced it with goats milk. Its OK in milk and recipes. I put Hershey's chocolate syrup in it when I drink it straight. I use goats milk butter and goats milk Chevre cheese.
Milk is in a LOT of places you wouldn't think, you have to what for whey and casein and and lacta - anything.

Is LO fine otherwise?
