His eye surgery went great and recovery has been a breeze. Fear #1 of my husband going blind = not a problem.
The finger is broken (well, fractured) and he's got a splint on it. Boo. But he's been a trooper about trying to help me do things anyway, and it doesn't really hurt him anymore, so that's good. I'm just hoping that Ali keeps cooking for a while longer yet so that by the time she comes he can be back to full functionality! Fear #2 of DH not being able to do squat with a newborn = slowly dissolving.
And I managed to talk my dad into meeting for lunch in San Marcos, so he didn't come all the way up here after all. Hooray!
