QOTD: We are NOT finding out, you can add me to Team Green.
At first it was DH's decision, but then I jumped on board and now HE'S waffling the other way! But alas, there are few "true surprises" left in life, and I want to enjoy a full 9 months of torture (I mean wondering).
As for what family says, my sister thinks I'm nuts (she knew with all 3 of hers) but no one else has said anything either way.

we're going to find out. Our family wants to know, my MIL wants to buy all pink if it's a girl (against my wishes, but whatever, if she wants to pay for it.) I can't handle being able to know something but not finding out.
Please add me to TEAM GREEN! It was a mutual decision. I think not knowing will make the birth that much more exciting. Plus, I'm not a huge fan or pink and blue, so I don't want a house and closet full of just those colors.
QOTD: We are going to find out the sex. I hate suprises SO much. I was shocked at how little convincing my husband needed to agree but he has.
My mom is very excited that we are going to find out but my mother in law is way less then impressed. In fact the second thing out of her mouth after we told her was "you better not find out the sex!" hahaha We are going to find out and I don't care how she feels about it.?
We're not sure yet whether or not we are going to find out the sex... leaning towards team green, but it would be nice to know so we can perpare and get everyone else prepared, and so my mom can know. (mom is very sick)
We'll definitely be finding out the sex of our baby. I'm also a planner and would just like to be as prepared as possible. Not to mention my mother can't wait to spend all of her money and my father's money on whatever it happens to be.
We are still on the fence. At first, we were sure we'd want to know, but not so much anymore... For one thing, I actually like more gender-neutral baby clothes, and I'm terrified of getting a bunch of pepto pink princess girly stuff for a girl and bright blue sporty stuff for a boy. Neither my husband and I are very girly or macho, lol, so we'd definitely want to stay gender neutral anyway. Plus, it really is the only time you'll ever get that big surprise.
I already call the baby "he" and DH calls the baby "she" and we've given him a gender-neutral pet name anyway, so that's not an issue.
What's making me want to know is the fact that I've had some depression for the past week or so that's giving me this irrational fear that I have like Rosemary's baby inside of me or something... I think knowing the sex might help to transform this more abstract idea of my baby as a little creature who thrills in making me feel like crap 24/7, into a more sane understanding of what's going on in there... or create a cute mental image of a little girl or little boy, instead of a fetus that looks like something from South Park that is sucking the life out of me. Does that make any sense? lol
I would love to be Team Green...DH not so much. He thinks I'm crazy for not wanting to know....I don't think I will be able to convince him so I will probably end up having to find out.
QOTD:?? Are you going to find out the gender of the baby? If you aren't and want me to mark TEAM GREEN next to your name let me know! Who's choice was it, mutual? yours and you convinced him or vice versa? What does your family say about your choice? Nope and sure you can mark TEAM GREEN .. it was my choice entirely and dh wasnt too thrilled with my decision but i told him too bad... my family and his family doesnt seem to really care that we have decided not to find out the sex ?
Please add me to the list! My name is Beth, I'm 25 and due 4/28/10!
QOTD: Please add us to TEAM GREEN. DH says he hopes he can stay strong and not find out, but we both think that being able to yell "it's a boy!" or "it's a girl!" Would be SO worth it!

We actually haven't decided yet. DH wants to find out but I want to wait this time. I guess we won't know until closer to the u/s.

AOTD: YES we are finding out the sex. I don't know how people can wait it out! I have to plan. I guess it was mutual, we haven't talked about it yet but we're going to find out the sex because I said so. As for my family....their opinions don't mean jack to me, its my life and my baby!
No new updates....things seem to be going along just fine.
texasmedflight, Misty, EDD from LMP 4/29/10. My first OB appt is 09/10/09 so I will find out more info then. I'm high risk due to previous mc and clotting disorders that caused them. I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Good baby ju ju from Texas!
EDD was confirmed by the doctor yesterday during our first appointment!
QOTD: We don't know yet if we're going to find out the gender or not. We were pro finding out until recently as we couldn't see ourselves wait months to find out. But then, there are so few real surprises in life, so now we are 50/50 split.
QOTD: We will be finding out the gender. Both my DH and I felt it would just be more helpful to know in preparation. My family is excited!
Update: I have my first ultrasound tomorrow. Please everyone think good thoughts and well wishes for me. I am excited and so nervous.
I am having a tough time with m/s. Pretty much everything is a turn-off for me, including water...I'm afraid it will make me puke. I know I have to drink a bunch of water before the ultrasound tomorrow, does anyone know if I could drink any liquid? Like maybe a ton of ginger ale? Or does it have to be water?

We will be finding out the gender for sure! But I think we're going to do something creative with it. I'll update you when we know for sure how we're going to go about it.
I have my first sono on Thursday! Excited to see the heartbeat and find out if we're carrying two or one!
Can you please add me to the April Moms-to-Be list? KatieK852--Katie--27 and due somewhere around April 18th right now. Thanks!
QOTD: We are not planning on finding out the sex of our baby right now. It's mostly my decision-DH is a major planner so that would be helpful to him, but I'm kinda looking forward to the surprise. I think I was able to convince him in part since we're not going to do a lot with the nursery for a while because there's a good chance we'll be moving in the summer and we'd rather decorate a house we're going to be in for a while instead of one we might be leaving relatively soon thereafter.
We will find out the sex and we haven't told anyone yet. We just found out Sunday so we are still in shock and figuring everything out. (It took us 2 1/2 years, clomid + Met to get to THIS point.)

We will def be finding out the sex, which after yesterday we cannot wait to do. We had a huge scare yesterday, but after an ER visit and early u/s everything is ok. Dr gave orders to rest for a couple of days.
