Some people have no sense!

I was at the grocery store with DS and checking out. He was in one of those shopping carts that looks like a car so the part he was in was enormous and plastic, you know what I mean. He had my cc and was trying to swipe it through the machine. I asked him to sit down and not touch it, mostly because I didn't want him messing up the machine, not because I was worried he'd fall out of the cart. The cashier, who I have always thought was a little odd says, "Yeah we don't want you to fall and end up like Christopher Reeves!"

WTF?
