Im going nuts!! I like get nervous now before I have to go to bed because I know its going to be a long long night.
I can deal with the up 8 times a night to pee. But now I cant go back to sleep or even fall asleep to start with.
When i lay on my back all I can think is "oh im not suppose to lay this way" and I have to sleep with my knees up in the air for some reason which causes my feet to fall asleep.
If I sleep on either side. I have to sleep with my arm under my pillow which causes my hand to go to sleep!!!
I also get this feeling in my chest that feels like creepy crawlies it drives me crazy!!! Its like the restless leg syndrom they describe but in my chest( any ideas what that may be from?? I had it a few times a year pre-pregnancy also) sometimes I think it may be im not breathing right when I sleep like sleep apnia or something but it has happened a time or two before I even get to sleep so I have no idea!!!
I need to know your tricks or ideas of how to sleep. Im exhausted!! ![]()
TIA Ladies!!!
Re: Sleep help!!! Please
HAHA! I saw your post and said to myself...omg someone else is having this issue too. Nice to know Im not alone. I worry too and have a tough time relaxing. Peeing is the worst. Im so thirsty at night and its so hard not to drink alot before bed. I have to pee like 5 times a night. Such a pain. The doctor told me to to drink very little a couple hours before bed but make sure I get lots of fluids during the day. For some reason I get the most thirsty at night. Everyone is telling me to try yoga, but thats not going to stop me from peeing at night and that is the reason I don't go back to sleep...Sorry I really have no advice just happy that It's not only me going through this too.
I just keep telling myself its preparing me to not sleep through the night when the baby gets here...
Maybe try some Benadryl to make yourself more sleepy.
Also, I've been told that your body will tell you when you can't be on your back.. so if you end up on your back there's no sense in freaking out about it because apparently you won't feel comfortable on your back if you're putting pressure on that artery.
Or try putting something wedged so that if you roll on to your back you have one hip slightly elevated taking pressure off it.
My dr had me try Breathe Right strips at night. I noticed I was breathing thru my mouth and was having a hard time catching my breath. They work really well and got me breathing correctly which puts me to sleep.
