We use the ergo and I love it but it does NOT help the muffin top/extra flab from having baby issue, in fact it does quite the opposite! Plus DS was about 3 months before he could fit in it.
Well I have my 3 month old niece today and I decided to use the sling her mom uses, BRILLIANT! Its easy, comfy, light weight and hides the fat!
It's $30 from target:

and cute! I highly recommend it for the first few months of mommyhood!
Re: Totally recommending this sling!
I have an achey back and I wore it all day and was fine, but I can't say I qualify as "bad back" it just hurts a lot!
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
Life is beautiful!
Anyone ever try this kind? Feedback?

It looks just like the Moby which I love, but I think these are much cuter. I would definately buy these. The Moby is great and so versatile. There are a lot of videos on Youtube that show all the different ways you can use it.
I could not use the regular sling for more than 20 minutes before it hurt my neck and back. But I just bought one off of Craigslist recently because Hannah likes to be held and it's easy to slip on when I'm in the store and she's crying to get out of her stroller. I use the hip carry and since she's holding on to me as well it's not too bad. Still I can't carry her like that too long. Just long enough to get through shopping.
