Success after IF

Totally recommending this sling!

We use the ergo and I love it but it does NOT help the muffin top/extra flab from having baby issue, in fact it does quite the opposite!  Plus DS was about 3 months before he could fit in it.

Well I have my 3 month old niece today and I decided to use the sling her mom uses, BRILLIANT! Its easy, comfy, light weight  and hides the fat!

 It's $30 from target:

and cute!  I highly recommend it for the first few months of mommyhood!

Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever! • I have to say I think they're adorable as heck, but hurt my neck something crazy from that style sling. Bad back, bad shoulders, back neck.... I could wear it for about 4 minutes and would feel the pain. I have back issues, but I've heard the same complaint from others. Anyone else or just me?

I have an achey back and I wore it all day and was fine, but  I can't say I qualify as "bad back" it just hurts a lot!

  • that's very similar to a hotsling, which i have and LOVE, moreso now b/c of the hip carry!!  perfect for a baby cal's age.
Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
    LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
    LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
    Life is beautiful!

  • I agree that it looks just like the hotsling and PPB also has one like that.  We got one for a trip and I have a bad back and 20% disability in my shoulders...I wanted to cry at the end of the flight...but it was a 4 hour flight with the sling sitting on one of my shoulders and no one else wore it.  I was afraid to move it or to pass off b/c little dude was sleeping. I do think they work great in the early months especially if you are not wearing it for a long period of time without a break.
  • how do you wear it on your hip?

It looks just like the Moby which I love, but I think these are much cuter.  I would definately buy these.  The Moby is great and so versatile.  There are a lot of videos on Youtube that show all the different ways you can use it.

  • I could not use the regular sling for more than 20 minutes before it hurt my neck and back.  But I just bought one off of Craigslist recently because Hannah likes to be held and it's easy to slip on when I'm in the store and she's crying to get out of her stroller.  I use the hip carry and since she's holding on to me as well it's not too bad.  Still I can't carry her like that too long.  Just long enough to get through shopping.
