After suffering from shortness of breath, dizzy spells, fainting and heart palpitations and only getting the response "it's just your low blood pressure" my GP finally did a blood test. Turns out my ferritin level is 7, and it is supoosed to be 20-100. Low ferritin can cause all of these symptoms so I have now been put on iron supplementation and hopefully these will help. I just wanted to let you know that if you have any of these symptoms, sometimes it pays to check it out.

Thanks for posting this. I have actually been experiencing these symptoms today and debating whether or not to call my doc.
