I saw your question on EFF and thought I would answer here.

I purchased 12 BG 3.0 https://www.bumgenius.com/one-size.php but I will probably not use those until baby is a few months old  since the leg openings are pretty big compared to skinny newborn legs.

For the newborn stage I am going to get some GMD Organic prefolds https://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/diapers.htm in orange (newborn) and yellow (small). I also plan on getting some Thirsties Fab Fitted diapers in x-small and small. As far as covers, I am thinking of getting the Thirsties Duo Wrap - size 1. This will be the cover for the prefolds and fitteds. https://www.thirstiesbaby.com/products.htm

    Thanks! I think I am on the same page, although I will have a good amount of fuzzi bunz b/c I got a good deal.

    It all just seems so overwhelming sometimes..

    Yeah, it really is overwhelming. I'm a visual person, so along with reading a ton of stuff, I've watched a lot of videos on Youtube and that has helped me be a lot less overwhelmed. It all sounds a lot harder than it really is.
