RP- crib w/ attached changing table

Do any of you have a crib with the changing table attached? What are your thoughts on them? TIA!

Supposedly they are not recommended because the baby (once older ) can climb out.

  • Like PP said, I've heard they're not recommended.  LO will start to climb and can fall off the changing table.  Plus, leaving things on the table can be hazardous too because LO will start grabbing and can pull things down on top of them.

  • I had heard the same thing about them not being recommended; however, IMO, if your kid is able to climb up on top of the changing table wouldn't it also be able to climb up over the side of the crib and fall out too.

    Just a thought!

  • I don't have one, but I don't like the idea of one either.  B/c how often are you really going to use the changing table after the baby gets a little bigger, If you could remove it later then I may be more inclined, it's NMS. But if you like go for it!!
