Is it bad that I've started calling our baby girl my favorite girl name (from our list) in my head since we found out yesterday? lol

We have a starter list of 5 girls names.  We came up with the list before we knew we were having a girl and decided we would seriously discuss the list (we also had a boy list) after we found out what we were having.

And since we found out yesterday I've been calling her my fav. name from that list.  Darn it for having to discuss names with H's and having to agree on one!

You sound like my dh when we were pregnant with dd:).  Actually, I had a favorite, but we had 3 names, so he would call her a different name each day for about 2 weeks to see which one fit the best.  One morning when we woke up, he said, Larken, it's Larken, which was my favorite.  The other two names were Sawyer and Langly.

lol, dh and I have not had a serious discussion about names but I have only 1 name that I like so far so I have been using it.  I havent told anyone what the name I am thinking is so its also driving friends and family crazy but its been fun keeping it a secret...  Even though DH and I havent officially agreed on it yet.

I did the same thing when I decided on the name for my son and I'm doing the same thing since I found out we are having a daughter. It's good to bond and get the baby used to her new name. Go for it!

Well that is how we settled on my son's name.  My husband and I discussed our favorites, and of those, I picked my favorite.  Shortly after that, I started talking to my son, and calling him by that name.  When I told my husband, we both figured that we couldn't change it after that.
