I'm looking for some help with my skin. In the past I have had trouble with acne. I've used all the basics (pro active, acutane, benz, etc...). That cured 90% of it and I used a glycolic acid wash and topical to eliminate the rest. Worked well until NOW! Uggh. My skin is awful and im in a wedding this week. What really works well for people with a similar story?

A friend of mine does facials at Shape Up Day Spa at the Shape Up gym in Corona del Mar. One of her specialties is acne treatment and I think her prices are really reasonable. She uses all Epicuran products as well as another acne line. I see her 1-2x/month for microdermabrasians which keep my skin great. My sister had some cystic acne and over a few weeks of treatments, she cleared it right up too and hers was pretty bad. i just wanted to suggest hope in a jar.  i ALWAYS have at least a few zits, especially on my forehead/eyebrow area (mainly from my bangs), but i have been using hope in a jar this entire pregnancy and not only has it gotten rid of any zits i had, but i haven't had ANY in months!  h has started to use it as well (he is/was a proactive user) and it seems to be working pretty well on him too.

For spot treatments, Clean and Clear Persa-Gel 10. It was recommended on 2nd tri board and has worked great for me.

I hope it's different for you, but I had bad acne during my first trimester and the first part of my second, and nothing totally cleared it up, because it was caused by the hormones.  The Clean & Clear body wash and facial scrub did help some though.
