"Are you sure you're only 7 weeks?"

Is the comment I got from one of my friends today. Ummmm, thanks! I have been feeling bloated but dang she said I already look like I have a bump. She also pointed out how I didn't show this early with my first. Thanks again? Of course she quickly said it doesn't look like I have gained weight but just that I already have a bump. Then followed it up with she didn't think I would be able to hide it at work much longer!

Grrrrr I've only gained 2 lbs and my clothes still fit me. I know this is my second but I didn't think I had a bump already! Guess I'll be going shopping this weekend! I am really trying to wait to tell people at work, other than my boss, until we hear the heartbeat.

Don't worry, it's normal to show sooner with your second. I barely had any bloat with my first pregnancy, but this time at 8 weeks I looked like I did when I was 20 weeks pregnant the first time. Now it's easing up a little, thankfully. I'm able to hide it under clothes fairly easily, but I definitely won't be able to hide it in the beach this weekend. I'm sure I'll get the "are you sure you're only 10 weeks?" comments too. Ugh.

I'm beginning to wonder already. I have had to do the rubberband trick with one pair of my pants already. That's crazy...it's way to early! I definitely think I"ll be showing sooner than last time.
