Reluctantly on team green :(

So we had an regular u/s at 18 weeks and baby was hiding it's "bits" as well as a part of it's face.  So we were scheduled for a f/up u/s today to get the missing measurements and hopefully find out the gender.

Well baby decided it wanted to be shy again.  Showed it's face, but not it's gender.

I'm thrilled that baby is healthy and growing well, just disappointed. Sigh,  I hate surprises at the best of times so this is hard for me.

Anyone else want to know and unable??

No I am team green but I know a lot of 3d ultrasound places will guarentee you will find out the gender or you get to keep coming back until you do. Good luck

Boo! I am so sorry! We went in at 18 weeks and the baby was not showing off it's goods. I was so disappointed. I was also so greatful and happy that LO was healthy but it is so hard to think you are going to know...and then not know. I ended up talking DH into going to an ultrasound picture place and paying for an ultrsound so we could find out. That was at 20 weeks and I think it was well worth the $100 so we could know that we are having a daughter.

Congratulations on the healthy baby and I hope you are able to find out somehow!!

I told DH that if our baby in uncooperative, we will be going to get a 3D ultrasound, guaranteed.

I'm team green by choice, but I'm sorry you didn't get to find out when you wanted to.  With my first I was dying to know and would have been sad not to be able to.  Do you have the option of going to one of those ultrasound places that do them for fun?  I know they are probably pricey, but if you really want to know, maybe worth it.  For now, try to focus on the fact that your baby is healthy.

Everyone kept telling us that if the baby wasn't showing off, it was most likely a girl. I didn't believe it but...it's a girl...
