DH Rant - Just got to get it off my chest...long.

Last night as we were about to go to bed, i asked if my DH would fill up the humidifier for the bedroom. He complained that he was too tired but "well ok", so i was tidying up the front room and came to bed a few mins afterwards, in that time he had moved the humidifier from one end of the room to right by the bed, and managed to spill water all over the floor and the duvet.

I asked him what he was up to, and with that he threw the water container on the floor and screamed at me that he was fed up with me barking orders at him all night. Ummm WTF? I hadn't asked him to do anything apart from fill up the humidifier.

I told him to stop being melodramatic and what was up? Obviously that was the sign for him to kick off as he started to swear at me, as he climbed into bed. Now i don't know about you guys but i refuse to sleep next to DH when he is in that sort of mood so i took my snoogle and went to sleep in the spare room.

Fast forward to this morning, where DH woke me up in the spare room and asked what i was doing in there.....ummm what? Do you not remember the screaming and swearing? He said i was being silly, that he didn't swear at me and he didn't know what i was talking about!

So either i made something out of nothing, or my DH was sleep arguing. Urgh on the plus side he did appologise to me in text form a couple of mins ago, so i think he knows he did something wrong!

The other day I had to ask my DH if he was handling his hormones okay.  It's like he moodier than me sometimes.

Last night, right after I layed down in bed  (which is quite the process nowadays) DH asked me if I could get up and make our AC unit cooler. I just glared at him and he goes "But its on your side of the bed"...I continued to glare and he got up to do it himself.

I suggest the power of the pregnant wife glare!

Glad to hear your DH apologized -- I bet he remembered doing it, he was just playing dumb.

I hope he was sleep arguing, otherwise that kind of behavior is not okay!  There have been a couple of times where I've woken up DH and he acted like a total jerk but then he doesn't remember it the next day.  He is all out of it when he first wakes up and can be really grumpy sometimes.  I hope that's the case with your DH. 

You might have a little talk with him about him throwing stuff and cursing.  That's not okay ever, but especially once you have kids.  That is going to scare the crap out of your kids and it is a really bad example for them.

Sorry you guys argued but I am LOL'ing at "sleep arguing." My DH gets like that sometimes....complaining that he is soooo tired and can't be bothered to do things even though I'm supposed to be resting (I just got placed on "house arrest" due to complications with this pregnancy).  I'm glad he apologized to you!

Thanks guys, i was hoping that i wasn't just blowing it out of all proportions. I am sure that he has more hormones than me sometimes...and they say that pregnant women are moody!! HA!

We hardly ever argue, and that's why when he kicks off it's such a surprise. We'll see how appologetic he is when i force him to cook for me tonight!
