Fasting up to 95 and 1 hour up to 140. The clinic originally said 120 at the one hour, but I can't hit that so he changed the rules to 140 at one hour.

I have been doing great with my numbers but had a very stressful day at work one day and was over 120 twice. When I called in, they said the stress explained it and that they are really looking for patterns- i.e. consistently over a few times fasting or for a few days on meals. That made me feel better. Now I just have to try not to get stressed at work!
Advise= if my after meals exceed these limits drink 20oz of water(or more) and go for at least a 10 minute walk (or more)
I think i need to have a talk w/ my doctor b/c i've been doing it sort of differently. I read that it's after the last bite... and my nutritionist also told me after the last bite.
thanks for the advise.. my nutritionist told me about walking after each meal but the only walk i've been doing is from the kitchen table to the couch -i guess it's time to explore my new neighboorhood (i just moved).

Yes, definitely ask them about this...I've only ever heard "first bite". Your body should start processing the sugars as soon as it hits your system, not after you've finished consuming food.

Yep, sure did. Fasting is to be between 60-90. 2 hours after I start eating, my number needs to be 120 or under.
