Book rave - Operating Instructions
Apparently Operating Instructions by Anne Lamott was a very popular memoir years ago - but I had never heard of it. Anyways, it is a delightful fast read about baby's first year. It really moved me - and this writer just nails it with her descriptions of the stuff her son does.
I've read a number of books/essays etc... on being a new mom, but this one by far has been the best. Enjoy! - Karen
