I teach third grade and just started my first week of school. Somehow, none of my students noticed that I was pregnant, but last year's students sure did! One girl tells me, "Mrs. R., you got, um, taller, over the summer," as she looks at my belly. Another student asked, "So are you having the baby on the last day of school or something?"
Re: Funny pregnancy comments
Apparently the neighbors must have been speculating about my belly at a neighborhood BBQ last month. The following week, I ran into one of my them at the drug store and she said "what's new?" as her eyes travelled down to my belly. LOL

I teach 2nd and am loving the comments. I have a student w/ special needs who came running up to me the first day. He was so excited for school! He got about a foot from me and did like 3 lunges at me with big arms for a hug but never got close enough. I asked, "What's the matter?" He did the arm motions again and said, "Your belly got big." He's the kid that wants to rest his head on my bump during read alouds.
The little ones (mostly K) are funny b/c they ask, "Hey, you got a baby in there?"
My belly button has definitely popped and was visible under a tee on Fri. A boy asked me what was under my shirt, so I told him the baby pushed my belly button out. He was mortified and said, "Tell her to suck it back in!!!!"
I ran into an old friend from school that i havent seen in a long time and i guess she appraently heard it through the grapevine that i was pregnant and when she saw me she tested the waters and said "Wow you're glowing!" i thought it was so funny b/c i have been breaking out and i was without makeup
