2nd Trimester

I have no idea if this is pregnancy related...

... But my breath has been suffering lately. DH won't let me forget it either. It might be because of my indigestion. Not sure. I can only have so many mints and brush my teeth so many times a day. Anyone else experiencing this? It's a bit embarrassing.?

Re: I have no idea if this is pregnancy related...

  • I get tonsilloliths which cause horrible breath if I don't get them out.

Unfortunately, my gag reflex rarely allows me to remove them now so I'm gargling with Listerine more to try & combat it.

  • I just went to the dentist today and discovered I have "pregnancy gingivitis".  Tartar builds up below the gumline and is quite gross.  Ick.  But I feel much better now, and smell better too, so I recommend getting a cleaning if you can!
I don't know what's up with my siggy and I am too lazy to figure it out.
  • Mine isn't so hot either- no matter how much I brush, floss, rinse with mouthwash. ?Oh well. ?I think normally DH would've pointed it out, but he is totally cutting me tons of slack these days. ?Smart guy.

Aww, thanks! She really is a special pup!?

  • Mine is totally raunchy too. But I swear the smell is coming from my throat, not my mouth. I would go to teh dentist, but I have extreme fears. He has to knock me out to work on me, and I dunno if that is the best for the baby!!!
March 21, I find out how far along we are. :)

I completely agree! You siggy pic makes me smile!

Anyway I feel like I want to brush all the time too! I think it might have to do with all the extra saliva that we have because of being pregnant! At least, that's what I was thinking! I feel like the first thing I want to do when I wake up is brush brush brush! lol

A tonsillectomy is a painful (and sometimes dangerous with risk of bleeding) recovery for adults but I got mine taken out because of those tonsiloliths. It was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life.
