Did anyone have SUA

I just had an ultrasound the other day for the full anatomy scan and have been diagnosed with a single umbilical artery. I have been reading up and am finding some positives where the baby is fine and born healthy. Also am seeing some negatives as well- did anyone here experience this? I'm scared and worried but am trying to stay positive but also want to prepare myself if the outcome may not be good as well. I have a fetal echo scheduled in a few weeks and I guess from there, they'll just monitor me... thanks in advance.

With my second pregnancy, they found I had SUA, but my ob told me that she didn't think it was what caused me to miscarry at 14wks... But she couldn't tell me why I lost him either. She said she knew of lots of babies with SUA who went full term and were perfectly healthy. I'm still waiting on some bloodwork results, but they're thinking I have a clotting or autoimmune disorder that causes my losses, so it's very possible the SUA had nothing to do with my loss.

My twins both have SUAs. Baby A died at 17wks. Baby B is healthy and growing. He passed his fetal echocardiogram and is being monitored closely for IUGR.

You might want to post your question on the High Risk Board. There are lots of SUA moms there.
