Mirena and Milk Supply

Have any of you used the mirena IUD? Has it impacted your milk supply? I'm praying my supply doesn't tank because of it.

My midwife said that Mirena only has the equilalent of hormones to one birth control pill.. and thats for the whole month.  I heard that it won't affect your supply.  I am getting the Paragard IUD (has no hormones) next week but have heard either one is fine with BFing

I got it at 8 weeks pp and it had no impact on my supply.

I've had it for about 7 weeks and I didn't notice a change.  My OB said it wouldn't affect my supply.

I haven't had any supply issues and I've had mine since June. 

My ob told me that the amount of hormones in it is so small that you could actually take birth control pills with the iud.
