Was the hypnobirthing class through Fairfax hospital?

The reason I ask is that when I was PG the twit of an LC at my breastfeeding class told everyone that people that go through infertility have a higher rate of failing at breast feeding than normal people.

No, I'm actually out in Loudoun at the Birthing Inn out there. That's obnoxious, though. It still amazes me at the amount of misinformation and just general thoughtlessness out there about IF. It's great that they can be so misinformed, as it makes it pretty clear they've never been through IF, but when you're dealing with people in any type of medical or authority position, you really ought to know what you're talking about.

 Did you say anything to the LC?

No and I really wish I would have because I am fairly sure I wasn't the only one in the class that had TTTC.  You are right the infertility business is HUGE in the DC metro area and with that you'd think the medical community would be more informed!

Even my OB pulled the "now that you have the one child you'll be able to relax and get PG easier with the next one"

I was pissed at him though and laid into him about how it is not that easy!!!

To his credit though he did appologize!
