Outside of growth ultrasounds, does the fundal height measurement (with the tape measure) indicate anything about baby's size in your experience?
I've been right on track every visit so far, but I wonder if that's more about the amount of fluid than the size of the baby.
FWIW, I was at 50th percentile at my 29 week ultrasound. Not sure when my next u/s will be -- I think for non-GD patients it would be around 36 weeks. Maybe different for me.
Any insights?

Fundal height yesterday at 37w1d measured 2w ahead (39w). Growth/follow-up u/s (DS #2 has a kidney defect) at 34w4d estimated him at 7lbs 11oz. All measurements (head, belly, and legs) were >95th percentile and I was measuring more like 38 at that time. After seeing me yesterday though, my OB thinks his growth has really leveled off and that he'll be around the same size my DS#1 was (8lbs 13oz) two weeks early.

My fundal height has been exactly on track with my dates. As of last week, baby was measuring a week ahead, but I'm not sure how that translates into %tiles. I have a BPP next week so I'll try to remember to ask.
With the OBs I've had, a normal pg would not get another u/s after the big anatomy scan u/s at 20weeks. Not being normal, I just had an u/s at 31 weeks and have another (for the BPP) at 33 weeks. Not sure if I'll be having one every visit now or not, I'm going to the OB every 2 weeks from this point on (until I start going even more often of course)
Last pg (non-GD), DD measured 2-3 weeks ahead by fundal height and u/s. At 36week u/s they said she weighed 9.5lbs. At just over 38 weeks she was born at 8lb 1oz. So I have trouble putting a lot of stock into their measurements. It also kind of amuses me that my non-GD baby was the one that gave the OB concerns about her size - though I'm very grateful that it's not a big issue so far this time!!
My fundal height was 44cm at my 36 week appointment. Yeaaaaah.
However, the last growth u/s I had was at 34 weeks. He was in the 75th percentile overall (better than he was at 30 weeks...93%), and I had elevated amniotic fluid (27cm). So, I feel better. I just measure huge.
Well, up till yesterday, I was measuring 7 weeks ahead (by fundal height) but baby was measuring perfectly on average.
But yesterday, I was measuring 5-6 weeks ahead, and baby was measuring over 2 weeks ahead, which is a lot closer to how far I was measuring.
At 35 weeks, I was measuring out at 50 weeks fundal height. I just knew from that moment on, that my son will be a big boy. I would ask them to do a AFI screening ( aminotic fluid) to see exactly if there is excess water around your baby. If so, they would be able to monitor you closely and carefully...that is what they had to do, i was diagnosed with mild polyhydraminos. ( elevated levels of aminotic fluid)
Having too little water is not good neither, I learned that it's better to stay at a perfect water cm. At my first ultrasound in july, the water was 29.02cm. 10 days later, the water levels went back down to 16-18 cm. I would suggest to you to ask your OB/GYN for a AFI screening. You may be at ease if you do this, and ask them to check the weight and measurements...I did this, and found out that at 7-23's ultrasound, he weighed 7 lbs 7 oz. when i went in on the 18th of august, he weighed estimate 12-13 lbs. That is why she immediately scheduled the c-section for tomorrow.
