It finally happened..the natural way...

I had my natural miscarriage.

I was awakened at 2:00 this morning with intense cramps..ohh the pain. (sorry for TMI) but i was passing clots and tissue until about 4 am. I was aware that this would be painful but I had no idea how painful physically and emotionally it would be. I am a little ticked that the nurse who called me yesterday did not offer me any pain meds or really even tell me what to expect. But I was brave and seem to actually feel a lot better right know. Hopefully everything passed on it's own, I would hate to drag this out and end up having to go for a D&C..Well of to get more blood taken to make sure my levels went down, which I am pretty sure after last night that they did..Did I mention that this totally sucks??grrrrrrrrr

I am sorry for your loss. Mine dragged on for almost two weeks and then hit at work. I called for pain meds, it was awful. You are brave for going it alone! ((hugs))

Sorry for your loss.  I passed mine naturally, also, but I was very early on so it was just like a very intense and painful period with lots of clotting.  It did suck, but I think there was some relief for me in knowing that it was over and I could move forward.

I hope your levels go down and you can avoid the D&C.
