Tips for Re-Introducing Bottle?

DD was taking bottles of BM several times a day up until c. 5 months.  After leaving my job and moving, I still had a ton of frozen milk that I didn't want to go to waste, so I was giving her one bottle a day myself.

Then we went on a couple of trips and I did not want to bother bringing frozen milk or pump with me, so just went back to nursing at every feeding.  Now I am considering taking a PT job.  DH and I both tried giving DD a bottle of BM yesterday and she absolutely refused, even though she was hungry.  (He tried first, without me there...then I tried.) So we tried putting it in her sippy cup...refused again and cried and cried until I finally nursed.

Do you have any tips for re-introducing bottle/sippy cup?  This will determine whether or not I even consider taking a job!

TIA!

  • Jonah os 12 months and still nurses. He used to hate bottles and I didnt introduce them until 7 months. He will drink out of them now, but not ever a whole bottle. try teaching her to drink from a straw. we taught our son a few weeks ago and he loves his new straw sippy cup.
