I take DS for his 1 year check up today. We still nurse 2-4 times/day, but the rest of the time he is on whole milk. I prefer to keep this schedule ideally through the end of the year. I'm curious if there is any medical research that shows BF can prevent swine flu. Sure would motivate me to keep going even past Xmas!
Re: Does BF help fight against swine flu - will ask pedi today
According to the CDC...

My twins are 5! My baby is 3!
DS#2 - Allergic to Cashew, Pistachio, Kiwi
DS#3 - Allergic to Milk, Egg, Peanut, Tree Nuts and Sesame
Thanks, this is helpful.
I was very glad to see something on breastfeeding on their site. I was looking for work related issues and got side tracked looking through their site.
My original long term goal was to BF for one year but now I'm hoping to make it all the way through the spring (May). This H1N1 madness is extra incentive for me to keep going that's for sure.
