I'm so freaking nervous about getting through the 1st tri this time. I scheduled my first u/s for a Friday at 4 so if it's bad news we have the weekend to recover. I hate having to think that way. Does anyone have a time machine I could borrow? Thanks!

Re: can I just skip ahead a few weeks?
Weeks 4-8 were the longest of my life. Do whatever you can to stay busy. That's the best advice I have.
And repeat to yourself: I have no reason to believe anything is wrong right now.
Hang in there & HUGS.
I completely understand--though I've never been through an m/c and I can't imagine how it feels to be pg again after having gone through that.
I do know I keep wanting to buy more HPTs just to make sure I'm still pg. Weird, right? I just get nervous when I don't have cramps or don't feel like I'm not in the bathroom more frequently. Basically, anytime I think I've forgotten about being pregnant, I want to make sure I still am.
How many weeks will you be at your first u/s? I think I'll be 7 weeks and 5 days.
This is awesome advice.
LOL - I had to force myself to put away my leftover HPTs after my betas started coming back nice and high. It's hard to resist!
I will be 6w2d - my first u/s is 9/4
It's hard for me to tell about symptoms b/c the OHSS is overshadowing everything else.
thank you. each day I keep saying to myself "I am 4w6d today...I am still pregnant...etc." I'll have to add the "no reason to believe anything is wrong" to my list of mantras.
I still say that to myself, several times a day. I wish I could say it gets easier. IF has really messed me up.
But I know in my heart you will get great news at your u/s!
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
I hear ya! If you find a time machine, can I come with you please?
I know, the 1st trimester is super scary for everyone and I think especially for those of us who have had losses. I am typically a calm person but have been a freak before my 1st two appointments. We had our 2nd u/s today... I spent the 40 minutes we sat in the exam room waiting for the doctor telling my DH different things we would do if it didn't work out. He doesn't like for me to think that way, but I can't help it!
I hope that your little baby is growing strong and that you carry to term! I wish I had some good advice for how to get through the next several weeks, I know it's so hard! Best of luck!
Oh my gosh, those days/weeks are just the hardest. I was white knuckling the entire time. I agree that unless you have reason to be concerned - try not to be. Right now you have no reason to think that things won't turn out 100% OK, and you just have to hold on to that!
Hang in there!!!

Inle ... step into my time machine ... my summer went by in about, oh, a week - so I think I can help you...
Hang in there lady!!! You're doing fine!
