After hearing the heartbeat, I am ready to move forward full force :-) I am a planner and shopper and just wondered what stores you love to buy from. Can be online as well. Thanks for the tips :-)
Buy Buy Baby (view their website for locations). I drove up to Chicago to visit one. but they were the best. Their staff was incredibly helpful and not in the stalkerish-way babies r us was. The selection was amazing... and overwhelming. They even try to carry most cribs in stock.
I'm getting most things from IKEA and Target. I'll be getting the crib and some linens from IKEA because a lot of my friends have had luck with their stuff. I'm registering at Target because that's the most accessible for my friends and family.

I shop around... but end up on the internet... I'll go to BRU, Baby Depot, and Target. BD & Target don't have a wide variety of brands. I always bring the registry "need" list & both my CR guide and BB with me, so I can cross-reference.
I have found the best clothes at JC Penney's, though. Great deals & adorable selection.

I love One Step Ahead (online only), the Right Start (mostly online with some brick and mortar stores, but probably not in Missouri) and Galt baby.
Prefer Buy Buy Baby to Babies R Us. Much better customer service and a lot more choices in stock. Have more models in the store to try out as well.
For clothes, my DD wears BabyGap, Gymboree, Janie and Jack mostly. I also love Mini Boden, Ralph Lauren (they have GREAT sales!), and some other specialty sites.
Happy shopping!

Gymboree (in store and on-line depending on the sale!)
Hanna Andersson
Tea Children?s Clothing
Janie and Jack
Mahar Drygoods (on-line)
Amazon.com
Just to name a few. I shop them becuase of great sales, unique items, hard to find items, organic/green/earth friendly and I like to shop.
Happy shopping!
Oh yes, how could I forget Hanna. My DD has about 5 playdress/day dress and leggings combos per season. LOVE them. For this fall she also has the 7 day a week jacket and her snowsuit for this winter is from there (not a bunting, but an actual snowsuit). They have the cutest sweater and hat combos.

So far I am loving Buy Buy Baby. They have a great selection over BRU and their sales team is terrific. They are very helpful and actually have a bit of knowledge on the products they are selling.
Buy Buy Baby definitely. We are registering there and Babies R Us b/c Buy Buy Baby isn't local. But they definitely have better stuff, the store was cleaner, more organized and everyone was much nicer!!!
