I've been working from home lately because I haven't felt the best and it's my last week at my job anyway.
My co-worker asked me to come in today to do an onboard at 9:00 so that she could take the day off. Okay, fine, no problem.I came in and waited on the guy until 9:15, and then called the hiring manager to ask where he was. Apparently, someone else had gone to our lobby to get him and sent him right into meetings because he didn't know who to ask for. Okay, fine, no biggie, I rescheduled his onboarding for tommorrow.
I texted my co-worker and said that the onboarding had been rescheduled and asked if she could do it tomorrow because I have a Dr. Appointment. Her text back to me was this:
"Why didn't you call up there and tell them to call you when he got there Alissa"
My response was that I didn't know she hadn't told him to ask for me (he asked for her and they called her, but she's not there today).
Her response:
"Common sense to call up there"
WTF? I did you a favor by coming in today, and you're going to be a b!tch about it?
UGH! I am glad that I have this job, atleast until the end of the week, but seriously? Maybe I am overreacting but this totally pissed me off.
Re: I don't normally do this, but co-irker vent....
