but i am super upset that my pomeranian talulah is at my in-laws today (they were watching her for when we were supposed to be away) because it is her 10th birthday. i seriously just started crying at my desk. i mean i know it has nothing to do with the fact that my dog is not at home, and who am i kidding she likes it better at my in-laws, but i just wish she would be at home tonight when i got home.

Awww!  Maybe it's ridiculous but then I am too.  When we go out of town, my ILs take our doggy too.  If I can't make it there to pick her up on my way home I cry too!

Are you able to pick her up today? My dog (in siggy) is my CHILD. I HATE leaving him & probably don't go on vacation for that reason. I will need to be admitted somewhere if something happens to him!! You are not being ridiculous.

we aren't picking her up until sunday, my in-laws live in brooklyn so it's not really reasonable to go and get her tonight. i know i am not actually upset about her not being here for her birthday it's just all this other crap that is making me focus on this. it doesn't take much these days.
